Why is there a travel fee?

Why is there a travel fee and what does it include?

On site hair and make up services are a luxury option for brides that want to relax in the comfort of their hotel room or home. We have been offering this service for 10+ years in South Louisiana and it wasn’t until recently that we weren’t exclusively on site.

So why a travel fee if “that’s what you do”?

Our artists are from around the South Louisiana and Mid Louisiana area which means they could be coming to you from ANY part of the state for your wedding day prep. We base the artists that are on your wedding on your style first THEN the location of your event. This travel fee is split amongst your team to come on site for your wedding and covers any events prior to the wedding as well.

Why is parking not covered under travel?

Parking is charged to the room that you are getting ready in or paid the day of directly to the artists if needed. We do not include this in travel because parking can vary from hotel to hotel.

Why is valet or close parking required?

Our artists travel with A LOT of gear and we want to make sure that they are as safe a possible when traveling to your wedding. Since 2018 we have required valet parking after an collogue of ours had her kit stolen midday while walking to wedding in New Orleans.
