Katherine and her husband said "I do" this October at Maison Dupuy. On the evening before their wedding, the couple had a Welcome ceremony for their guests. They held their wedding ceremony and reception in the patio area of the venue, perfect for a cooler evening wedding! Katherine's wedding was beautifully eclectic in the heart of the French Quarter.

Verde Beauty Studio Hair + Makeup Artists Tina and Bobbi helped Katherine get ready on the day of her wedding. Katherine chose a beautiful textured updo to the side with a pin to add some dimension to her dark hair. Those took her hair from formal to "wedding hair". As for makeup, Katherine had subtle eye makeup and focused on a bright lip. This complemented her personality and pulled together her entire wedding look.

Tina & Bobbi were wonderful! My bridesmaids and I got SO many compliments! In fact, originally, only 1 of my bridesmaids was planning on getting her makeup done but after seeing my make up at the rehearsal dinner, the 3 remaining bridesmaids all decided to get their makeup done as well!

Katherine is an out of town bride who traveled to New Orleans to get married. We have several brides from around the country who chose to get married here. Here is her advice:

"For a destination wedding + honeymoon right after, pack your bags before the night before you leave bc that will be the most stressful part of the wedding!" -Katherine
